Joshua and peppa

For 2016, Frankie & Lola’s nominated charity is CLIC SARGENT Scotland.

To help raise funds for this wonderful charity, we wanted to do something in line with CLIC’s national campaign, which was to make this leap year count.

Frankie & Lola’s, normally closed on a Monday, was opened especially for our very own “Lunch with Peppa!” event on Monday 29 Feb 2016. The event sold out in two days. In fact, it was so popular that we are hosting another event on Monday 14 March 2016 (sold out too).

Along with the 50 lucky children who got a ticket for the day, Peppa’s special guest was two-year-old Joshua from Inverness who had spent months undergoing gruelling treatment for leukaemia in The Royal Hospital for Sick Children.

Joshua’s mum, Karla said: “I honestly can’t put into words the difference that CLIC Sargent made for us. It is an amazing cause, which does fantastic things, and it helped us through the hardest possible time.”

Read all about the day here and see our facebook page for photos 🙂
